Every year Ionia High School’s theatre group puts on two plays, the first being a musical in the fall. They usually start selecting the play and have auditions in August, but it is now September and the group hasn’t had a single meeting. Trish Carter, long time director has stepped down from that role and no one has yet to be named.

Right now the school is taking applications for IHS Theatre Director so if you are or know of anyone who may be interested in running a successful and fun show with great kids, you can ask about the position in one of the offices. Interviews will be in October; because of this, the group may not have a regular spring play, and instead push back the performance of the musical to spring. Despite all of this, IHS Theatre is a great group and will be able to pull off something amazing this year no matter what.
